March 14, 2004--Elctric Bikes Direct has been launched, based in Guildford Surrey. Providing a wide range of Folding Electric Bikes with prices starting from £299.

We are proud to supply BLiSS BiKES, Bright Bikes, Honda and Dahon.
The Dahon Roo EL weighs 16.5kg and costs £1199.
Honda Step Compo weighs 17.6kg and costs £1099.
The BLiSS range weigh 24kg and cost £699.
All of the above have Aluminium Frames and the latest Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) battery technology.

The bikes all have PAS (Pedal Activated System) meaning the motor activates only when you pedal, so they are completely legal on UK roads.
They require no tax, insurance or licence.
